We just got back from a camping trip to Wickiup Resevoir below Bend. Lots of sun, fun and busy-ness!! We pretty much played in the water and rocky beach ALOT - Went on camp walks and Ella had her 1st marshmallow.... yea she LOVED it!






Oh yes, and house is coming right along - here's a photo!

This is the front of the house... garage on left, entry, and then den on the right.
This is a shot of the kitchen... 2 windows in the corner, that's where the sink will be... laundry room door on the left... neighbor's fireplace through the window...a lovely view haha This is the living room from the dining room - the other side of dining room is kitchen, so the living is all in the back of the house. They were going to put 1 window on one side of the fireplace, but we had them switch to 2 box windows on either side - very excited for that!



This is an updated shot of the front with Mike and Ella too :) You can see the beginnings of Ella's bedroom up on 2nd floor, and the entrance getting a bit fancier.

This is the back of the house looking from the backyard, so living room is on the left, dining room in the middle and kitchen on the right!

Long Lost Blog!

Hello, its been awhile - we're now out in Sandy, renting a house while our home is being built. Being out in the country now, it's taking a good month+ to get Internet Access out there! We did install a dial-up modem in our pc - but after having an amazing thunder and lightening storm it made an early departure! I'm now using my work lap-top on a dial up at home, and it's painful!

Needless to say, once I have DSL - cross your fingers for the end of this week, then I'll be posting pics along the way of the building process!! Right now they have the 1st floor's framing done - looking good!!

Ella is doing great, we just partook in Sandy's annual mountain festival, quite the down-home delight. We went to the Downtown Parade on Thursday evening, where camping chairs lined the street (not streets - just 1 street!) for days beforehand to save good viewing spots of the fabulous tractors, trucks and square dancing parade floats. This weekend we went to the festival at the park, which was really cool - They had booths scattered throughout the treed hillside, with lot's o' food and music.
